Field Coordinator: North Central Washington Biochar Project

Part-time contract · Chelan, Kittitas, or Okanogan County, WA

Circular Spring is looking for a local Field Coordinator to help forest landowners enroll in a USDA Forest Service–funded project. The project turns thinning slash into biochar on site instead of hauling it away or burning it in piles.

It's part-time and mostly remote, with a few field days a month. Your work would focus on landowner outreach, applications, and site documentation.

• Term: October–December 2026, with a possible extension into spring 2027

• Hours: 10–30 per week, flexible

• Rate: $40–55/hour, plus mileage

• Priority review begins September 29, 2026
